Known for cattle and pictures.

The legendary Pitchfork Ranch sits outside Meeteetse, Wyoming surrounded by mountains that house elk, mountain sheep, antelope, bears, and more. The true nature of rugged ranch life was captured in the 1900’s by one of it’s owners, Charles Belden, an accomplished photographer.

I had the privilege of attending a branding at the Pitchfork Ranch. I hope these images capture the traditions, dedication to the land, and perserveance of it’s stewards just as Belden did 100 years ago.
